The first frames are Château de Chenonceau, which crosses the Cher on its arches, seen from the bank and from the air. Château de Chambord follows, from the end of its avenue, across the water and behind a summer flower bed. Then Amboise: the royal château above the Loire at sunset, the view from its terrace, and the brick manor of Clos Lucé where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years.
